My Finnish picks for the weekend:

Saturday 02.08:

FC Inter -1 vs KuPS @ 1.95 (Ladbrokes)
Inter don't have a great home record this season (4-3-7, 21-24) but this is mainly because of their slow start. They're in great form (last 5: 3-1-1, 13-5) and they face bottom places KuPS who've lost 6 of their 7 games on the road.

Tampere United -1 vs FC Hämeenlinna @ 1.95 (Ladbrokes)
Tampere are in great form too (3-2-0, 9-1) and very strong at home (5-0-1, 15-3). Hämeenlinna don't impress on the road although they tend to keep the games tight. If you include a 1 goal handicap, Tampere are 5-0-1 at home while Hämeemlinna are 4-0-3 away from home.

Sunday 03.08:

FC Jokerit vs FF Jaro +0.5 @ 1.90 (Ladbrokes)
Both Jokerit and Jaro are in quite poor form and have had a lot of draws so far in the season. (6 of 14 games for both teams) which makes the +0.5 interesting. Ladbrokes have a much better price than most other books e.g. Canbet (Jaro +0.5 @ 1.74) and Pinnacle (Jaro +0.25 @ 2.00)

Wilheim, I'll be stopping by the hockey forum once in a while to piggyback some of you puck-heads. I still don't know anything about NHL though - I only came in 2nd in the contest because I "stole" picks from other cappers around the net
