Cluster **** or omen yesterday. dont know how many of you live here in vegas, but 40 min b4 yesterday's Ill game the station casino lost all the computer systems that run every one of there casino ticket printing betting machines (about 6, including green vallen ranch)
now yesterday was a very big bet day, especially for the horses, and some of the big races were getting ready to go, along with some hugh pick 6 & 8's.
at the sante fe, one of the smaller house, there are about 150 individual stations where heach better has his own tv, which they can change the channel to get either a different track or sports game, what ever is broadcast they get it all, and every seat was taken, than the small area for sports was filled as well, and hundreds line up to make either horse or cbb bets
the system did come back up with about 10 min b4 the cbb game, but the million dollar gulfstream, and many pick 6 & 8 were shut out for the day. i know that we had a 15-1 winner that we couldnt get in, but they had every ticket window open and manned and were able to get everyone that wanted to bet thru the system before game time.
most were on ill & msu, the brothers were on louis and NC, and i was with the house with louis and NC.
the house needed nc in a big way yesterday, the line never came off 4- regardless of who and what they bet. so yesterday 1-1 on the sides, took the under in both games, but pushed at 158 in the 2nd one
horses - the jts (jake the snake) was hot as hell in the ponies yesterday, he bets exacta, tri & super boxes. for that dont know anything about betting horses, a tri and super is to pick the exact order of finish in an individual race, but a box means that you get any combination of number to come in any position. we were betting $2 dollar tri & super boxes which is $24 per ticket. well to make a long story short, yesterday at santa anita, the long shots were coming in, in the 8th race we had a tri and super 5-6-9-10, both on the tri and super which means that any 3 of the 4 horse in the tri, in any order for $24 ($2 box) and all 4 horses, in any order for the super. 10 won, and 7-6-5 came in, and the 9 was a close 5th. the super paid $60,133 for a $24 bet, but we won the tri which paid $5663.20 for a $24 bet, and yes we got 1099's. you can bet 4 times that much on a sports game and never get one, although they do report all cash trans at $10,000 to the feds, but no 1099, but on horses it depends on the odds.

line opens nc-3 now -2-, o/u 156- now 155. looks like all the money is going to be on ill for this game, and the under. lets see how low that o/u can go. i know that these final games usually go under, but gt & uconn went way over last year, and these teams like to run and gun
