if stock market recovers so to will oil and gas prices

that said i don't think that is happening for a while

and Cap is also correct gas price decline getting helped on two fronts oil crashing due to global economic problems as well as winter fuel is less expensive than summer fuel (emission standards)

Why can't an industry that makes billions of dollars every quarter figure out a way to meet this demand spike if it happens at the same time every year, Mr. Hyper-Awareness?

demand isn't really the issue as far as seasonal changes in gas prices although they do start stockpiling gas reserves in the spring to save up to meet demand for summer driving season

that said the main force beyond oil prices that moves gas prices in summer vs. winter

is the higher costs associated with meeting the emission standards state to state

reason cali is higher than other places is due to taxes and emission standards
