When you must fly.

I have a five hour flight, and I have no idea how I will handle it quite frankly!

I feel like I will be holding my breath for the entire flight waiting for something to go wrong... 5 hours is a long time , and doing it twice in 3 days YIKES!

If this plane does crash I swear I will never fly again!

And I will be one pissed off MoFo....and I am blaming Dante :lolBIG:

I have something that will work 100% of the time I just don’t know if you have time to do it before your trip go to your local airport and spend about $250 on a small plane ride one on one where you are sitting in the front once you ride there and fill the way you will with the way the aircraft moves and lands, takes off and more importantly the turbulence fills in the front it will make a huge difference. The fear of flying with the bumps or the plane making a turn is because you cant see out the front trust me this does work, hope it helps

little bumps as your flying is normal and means your just bouncing off the air currents at 30,000 feet Jman nothing to worry about:drink:

I need to see those safety stats again...How many flights take off and land safely per day?

1 in what 500,000 crash?

Those are about the same odds as my Western Union transfer had of making it last week! UGH!:hump: :hump: :icon_conf

J-Man...My dad's gf hates flying, so she takes 3 shots of brandy before she flies and sleeps most of the way. Not sure this will work for you but it is a shot..G.

depending on when the flight is (it works better for morning flights), you could stay up all night so you're a walking zombie by the time you get on the plane. i'm incredibly scared of flying, but sitting down after not sleeping in 30-something hours just knocked me right out and it was the easiest plane ride of my life.
that or valium, like dante said

My wife will only get on a plane with 10mg of valium taken about an hour before takeoff. Seems to do the trick for her...

eat about 3 grams of "magic" mushrooms and hour before the flight. Then contemplate the meaning of life, before boarding the plane. lol

phobia...an irrational fear...tell yourself you are on a rollercoaster...you can't jump out of a plane and i seroiusly doubt you would live if you jumped from a 100 foot drop of a coaster...the only thing to fear is fear itself...gl

Flying is magnitudes safer than driving. Of course any flying accident involves several dozens of fatalities, at least, so it gets big press.

I used to really enjoy flying but as I've aged those transoceanic flights become more of a drag. I still really enjoy those 3 hour flights in good visibility where you can see the geography and geology beneath you.
