I was curious if anyone knew of a good publication or site that they used to make their weekly selections for fantasy football? Which do you feel is the best?

Miss you in the poly forum, bfl. Hope all is well.

Like Rotoworld, Fantasy sharks, and FF Toolbox.

Good luck.

Thanks Rebel and Michelangelo.

It was time Michelangelo. There really wasn't anything left to talk about as logic just went out the window. I figured there were better ways to spend my time. With that said, much of what people like you and I said would happen, has regrettably come to fruition.

I've heard from many that the publication Fantasy Football THE INDEX is very very good. I've been out of Fantasy Football for a number of years but that publication seems to be popular with a number of successful Fantasy Football players. Heard it was difficult to find but worth the hunt

Are you referring to fantasy index? That's the one I use. Or is this a different one?

I was hanging out at the pool a few days ago and TWO noted gamblers and fantasy football players came to me both with the same publication, Fantasy Football Index, this year with Peyton Manning on the cover under center. Both asked me if I wanted to look at it and all I replied was I'm ready for the season. They laughed. One of the fantasy players all she uses is that publication and she makes good money yearly playing in fantasy leagues. One has to be prepared weekly to drop and pick up two to six players weekly to be successful. It's a long grind and takes a lot of analysis. More importantly make sure you are in a fantasy league that pays. One major fantasy league I entered a few years ago (I finished second) all the participants got stiffed. So beware. Some of these clowns start up fantasy leagues and take all the money and then start up next year under a different name. A lot of legitimate ones but a lot of scams, just like off shore sports books. Wishing you the best

Yes, bfl. We had it right. But how could so many voters be so wrong? We are losing our once great country.

I have been using FF Index for many years. It is an annual magazine, not weekly or monthly. In my opinion, still the best for draft preparation.

I get it at Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

Michelangelo is correct on the Fantasy Football Index. Barnes and Noble is the most likely place to find it...

as as far as his political assessment which I hate addressing in a sports forum one only needs to look at Congress and the CRY BABY BITCH BOEHNER to see where the real problem is. If everyone were working TOGETHER there would be no talk in forums regarding the state of affairs in Washington. But we all know working TOGETHER has never been an objective since Obama became President. Sadly, The objective of Congress and the CRY BABY BITCH has been the opposite. Oh well it keeps the people and country divided, we don't accomplish anything and it keeps political talk at the forefront.

It's a magazine, BM. I picked mine up at Barnes and Noble in Burlington, MA this morning. Fantasy Football Index.

I don't personally pay for any in season cheat sheets. The stuff Hache posts in the Fantasy room here is helpful.

fftoday.com (free) and footballguys.com (paid) are both very good and have good forums. Fftoday posts weekly rankings of players.

Unless you are really into the details I would skip buying any kind of magazine, I am actually surprised they are still in business. Those things are done way early after the draft and so much changes by the time real drafts come around the ranking are not worth anything. The information about new offense and def coords or new head coaches is valuable but too much has changed for the ranking to be relevant.

rotoworld is also great on updates, but you have to be careful about reading into their analysis their waver very quickly.

Also I posted this on the fantasy forum, but I put together team by team projections for the season its excel based, and can be customized to your league scoring.

I also use it as a main guide for when the NFL player futures come out, or for offensive rookie of the year.

When I played I used footballguys exclusively. I got tired of playing. More money in gambling on games than player stats.
