Loving ECU -3 tonight.

Main reason of course is obvious look-ahead spot for Temple with Notre Dame on deck. Add in the revenge angle for ECU for losing last year, game in which they could have easily won, but fumbled 5 times. Then also factor in that Temple had to comeback on and expend a lot more energy than they would have liked late in 4th just to beat shitty UCF and you have a beautiful little spot developing here.

ECU is super legit too, Summers has given the offense some major life. Improving team that earlier in the year hung tough at Florida only losing by 7, soundly beat VaTech, and hung in all game on the road in tough environment at BYU last week. Meanwhile Temple has beaten up on cupcakes such as Tulane and I'm certainly not impressed with their opening week Penn St win.

ECU -3 tonight LARGE. Win or lose its a fantastic spot.

Not sure this is a look ahead spot for Temple.

Just got ranked, undefeated, national television. Plenty to play for tonight.

If they lose it won't be because of a look ahead to Notre Dame. I get what you guys are saying, but they have plenty to play for tonight and will be ready. Whether or not they can stop the ECU passing attack is another matter.

They play great defense, can run and stop the run, and getting points. ECU gives up a lot of rushing yards on defense. ECU has played a better schedule.

Last year ECU turned the ball over but had a huge stats advantage. Perhaps they take better care of the ball, limit the running attack of Temple, and come away with a win. I just wouldn't put too much credence in the look ahead angle for this game.

Good luck fellas, I'm on the other side. Should be a good game and we will find out a lot about this Temple team tonight.

I could understand the "look ahead" rationalization.....if Temple were a heavy favorite. But I definitely don't think Temple will LOSE the game, so covering as a dog is the play here for me. Temple will be very excited for the National audience and they are just better than ECU at every position.

This could be an instance where there are actually TOO many things that favor ECU that they all end up negating one another and Temple puts it in them.

Mush friend doesn't bet much and he LOVES the Pirates here. They struggled to move the ball against Tulsa and are laying points to this Temple D. No thanks.

Look at the strength of schedule these two teams have played up to date. Who's played the tougher competition? :think2:

Thanks for all insight/well wishes fellas.

I respectfully disagree with anyone who says Temple won't be looking ahead tonight, from my understanding of college sports and kids' psyschologies, I find this virtually impossible. Doesn't obviously mean ECU will cover, but as someone who bets spots/situations for most part I cannot pass up this angle, along with obvious revenge factors. Best of luck to everyone tonight, lets stack some units!
