And yet some fiscal conservatives still support him. Can you
understand it? It just proves that they don't mean what they
say and they are truly brain dead.

The economy is doing just fine. If we can just stop the funding for liberal give away programs we would be even stronger. In addition, upper income brackets are paying to much. Tax the middle class and the poor. Let's keep it fair and balanced.:103631605

There is no clearer image of the failed economic policies, and their results, that link the current administration to fiscal downfall. How anyone can support these economic failures is beyond me. If these numbers were conceived during a democratic administration, the same people that support this president on his economic policies would be crying for his head. Of this there is no doubt.

And this deficit that only half seem really, really worried about effect me how? Are we looking at tax hikes, interest rates through the roof? Because the last time I checked weren't they talking about less taxes and rates are still at an 35 year low.

You're looking at tax hikes and its impossible to stop unless you have a massive Government reorganisation and millions of unemployed...which will upset the political balance.

My money is on tax increases since everyone in Government wants the gravy train to keep chugging. (whether Dem or Repub)

The gravy train in a decade or so will be forced to balance the budget...and that means tax increases.

The party's nearly over, US Government debt is at 80-100%

Japan got to 150% before reality set in, but most places start to stumble around 100%.

The bottom line is you're not paying your way.
But you will be forced to before long.

To keep it simple.

America makes 11,000 dollars p.a.

Taxes are 3,000 dollars p.a.
Government spends 4,000 dollars p.a.
So Government creates 1,000 dollars debt but creates jobs etc with that extra spending.

And so the years go by...
Current debt is 10,000 dollars which needs to be paid back....but Government is STILL overspending to maintain the status quo and keep everyone happy, but its an illusion.

At some point soon, the Government will be unable to keep spending money it simply does not have.
They are spending that cash just like the socialists.

When crunch time comes you get either mass unemployment or tax increases, whichever is the easier political medicine to swallow.

America is an amazing economy, but its not indestructible.

And what's plugging the gap to maintain those standards...is the deficit.
(National Debt)

But using a deficit is only ever a temporary solution to your situation.
Like a credit card, you've got to pay it back eventually.

People aren't daft, and especially in America a lot of folks are economically aware.
