Awesome week 8 going 1-3, excluding a 6 pt teaser. So that brings my YTD total to 9-4. Last week went to the shitter & now I'm gonna f*ck those books up in the week to come. Holla at ya boy.

Wisconsin will destroy Purdue, Purdue was playing the helpless Illinois team & only won by 10 because Illinois kept turning the ball over. Wisconsin big!

Really strong opinion you have there. I am still looking into these games. Never said I am playing them, but at first glance, these teams really stood out. A wise man once told me to look for... Spot, perception, value & matchup.

Speaking of spot plays, Purdue beats Ohio St as a double digit dog 2 weeks ago & then beats a pathetic Illinois team by 10 last week while Wisconsin loses 2 games in a row after starting the season 5-0 & are coming off a bye week after those 2 loses. Wisconsin should be focused & prepared & imo, this is a really bad spot for Purdue.

I totally hear you. Like I said, it was just a lean & what I felt at the moment. As you can see it's not a play of mine. Who knows though. I think Purdue is very capable of beating Wisky. They went to Oregon & took them to the edge. They upset OSU. Very inconsistent team but can move the ball nonetheless. Thanks for the input. Appreciate the insight.

1. I am not a bit surprised that Purdue only beat them by 10pts. Coming off a huge win, I would expect a subpar performance from the Boilermakers.

2. Illinois only had 1 turnover during that game. Purdue just came out flat from a huge game & didn't beat up on a terrible team like the Illini.

If Sparty can go into Camp Randall & lose by 8 pts after losing the turnover battle 4:1, then I think Purdue has a very large chance at covering the 7 pts.

Any thoughts on Syracuse +15ish at home vs Cincinnati?

Syracuse's pass defense is really bad, and that frightens me. Cincy is likely still going to have a backup QB (and he's been great in limited action) but this could be a flat spot for Kelly's team playing on the road at noon against a 3-4 opponent you should manhandle.

I second this. Would definitely like to hear your take

Love the Minnesota play and will probably join. They've played much better at home in their new stadium and are coming off back to back thumpings from the hands of the Big 10 powers. Big spot for Weber to break out of his TD-less streak. Plus a mediocre MSU team laying a TD on the road? Meh...

Got burned twice from betting on Syracuse. Paulus was all hype. I think he threw 4 picks against USF when I bet on them. Then they had WVU at home. I figured since they had a good rushing D, they would've held the Mountaineers, but they got blown out. I can't seem to make heads or tails out of these characters. My numbers do come out to Cincy winning handily though. Syracuse is good against bottom tier teams but still gets outcoached & outplayed against the cream of the Big East Crop.

Out coached? How so? I don't think thats fair...Marrone has only 7 games under his belt. The opportunities have all been there but the talent difference has been huge.

I really like the spot they are in. I think Sparty is coming off a devastating loss at home & now have to travel across state lines in a rowdy environment where Wisconsin had trouble. Minny had sooooo many opportunities against the Badgers, why not do it here against an inferior opponent (I believe). I wish the line was a lil higher, but I do believe we have a "live dog" barking here. Only question is... will Decker be ready come Saturday???

That's what I mean... His lack of experience allows him to be outcoached. No offense to him as I think he will be leaps & bounds better than Robinson, but he hasn't had the time & experience just like how a Freshman QB needs reps & game time experience to get better. Winning against the likes of Kelly, Edsall, & Leavitt is a tall order.
