The writer of this rant shows his/her ignorance in the first sentence. The Confederate States were legal according to the so-called important Founding Fathers.

Saying that civic improvements like bridges in the South are paid by the North is laughable. I'm sure I can find a site which details the money received by the red states and to the payments rendered by same and then figure what percentage of all public works are actually paid by Northeasterners.

I don't think he read that or the FBI stats page as some of his blue states are in a different geographic category. I don't see how he can be proud of the lower rate of divorce in the North as its still a divorce. Morals are lacking everywhere not just the South.
