Scoop: Trump in Talks with Cruz to Replace Sessions and Mueller

https://medium.com/@JackPosobiec/sc...-to-replace-sessions-and-mueller-5068eaaca2af

President Trump is talking to Senator Ted Cruz and others about what they would do differently as Attorney General, should Jeff Sessions resign, as reports indicate.

White House sources also report President Trump was truthful when he made comments expressing buyer’s remorse over appointing Jeff Sessions to the role.

Trump staffers believe Sessions, Donald Trump Jr, and Rohrabacher aide Paul Behrends were unfairly scapegoated due to the left-wing Russia narrative.

In addition, a replacement for special prosecutor Bob Mueller is being actively discussed as the President weighs the decision to fire the Rosenstein-appointed prosecutor. Many within the Trump camp see Mueller as acting in bad faith with the investigation due to partisanship, and are urging the appointment of a truly independent alternative.

Facing criticism as a political witch hunt by many, Bob Mueller has hired a who’s who of liberal activists as his team of prosecuting attorneys.

Research on Muller’s prosecutors is being conducted for the administration by Chuck Johnson’s team. :103631605

Finally, top Trump donors are funding their own research operation independent of the White House in order to push back against the media’s fake Russia narrative conspiracy theory.

Judicial Watch: Mueller Probe is a Political Effort to Jail Trump and His Family

Cristina Laila Jul 21st, 2017 10:59 am 77 Comments

President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton is one of the loudest voices calling for the end of the Mueller probe. He says the probe is out of control, unsupervised and unconstitutional.

In a recent interview with The Daily Signal, Fitton said the Mueller probe is “a political effort to jail the president and his family because people don’t like him.” Fitton is absolutely correct. The Democrats will not stop until Trump, his family members and people in his administration are put in jail.

Fitton also said, “Sessions should un-recuse himself and get rid of Mueller.”

Fired FBI Director, Comey admitted to leaking memos to the press to prompt a special counsel, so why is this investigation still going? Mueller has to go!

As TGP previously reported, The Washington Post claimed that President Trump’s legal team are exploring ways to “scale back” Mueller’s investigation. This is great news, considering many believe Mueller is not an independent arbiter of the investigation and is abusing his power by investigating trivial business transactions.

Not only is Trump asking his advisers about his power to pardon family members and even himself in connection with the probe, The New York Times is reporting that President

Trump is also going on the offensive. FINALLY!

Trump’s aides are seeking leverage as they investigate Mueller’s investigators.

The Mueller probe is an out of control investigation full of Democrat activists. TGP also reported, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has announced 15 attorneys who will look into Trump-Russia collusion in the 2016 election.

There is no evidence of collusion and even if collusion occurred it would not be a crime — just like the fact that Hillary Clinton colluded with the Ukraine was not a crime.
But the Russian witch hunt will never end until heads roll.

Here is a look at the 15 attorneys who will investigate Trump.

NPR
recently listed 13 of the attorneys Mueller has hired – The Gateway Pundit researched the attorneys earlier today:

    • Rush Atkinson, an attorney on detail from the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section at the Department of Justice
      — Donated $200 to Clinton in 2016
    • Peter Carr – DOJ spokesman under Barack Obama.
    • Andrew Goldstein, a public corruption prosecutor on detail from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York — Worked under Trump-basher Preet Bharara in the liberal New York southern district.
    • Adam Jed, an appellate attorney on detail from DOJ’s Civil Division.
      Defended Obamacare at the DOJ.
    • Rober Mueller – Special Counsel Team leader.— Best friend to fired leaker James Comey.
    • Lisa Page, an attorney on detail from the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel and a former trial attorney with the Criminal Division’s Organized Crime and Gang Section

    • — Investigated Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, a one-time business partner of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, at the DOJ.
    • Elizabeth Prelogar, an appellate attorney on detail from the Office of the Solicitor General.

    • –Fluent in Russian; former law clerk to Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.
    • James Quarles, a former partner at WilmerHale and a former assistant special prosecutor for the Watergate Special Prosecution Force. –Former assistant special prosecutor on the Watergate Special Prosecution Force.
    • Jeannie Rhee, a former partner at WilmerHale who has served in the Office of Legal Counsel at DOJ and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.

    • — Rhee is a Clinton Foundation Lawyer and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel under Barack Obama.
    • Brandon Van Grack, an attorney on detail from the Justice Department’s National Security Division.
Led a grand jury inquiry in Northern Virginia scrutinizing former Trump associate Michael Flynn’s foreign lobbying.
    • Andrew Weissmann, who is on detail from the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section and who has served as general counsel at the FBI and as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

    • — Weissmann donated $2,300 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2008, $2,000 to the DNC in 2006 and at least $2,300 to the Clinton campaign in 2007.
    • Aaron Zebley, a former partner at WilmerHale who has previously served with Mueller at the FBI and has served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. — Worked with Robert Mueller at the WilmerHale firm.

These other Mueller attorneys have less conspicuous political leanings:

    • Aaron Zelinsky, an attorney on detail from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Maryland.
      — Worked under Assistant AG Rod Rosenstein in Maryland.
    • Zainab Ahmad, a top national security prosecutor on detail from U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York.
    • Michael Dreeben, an appellate attorney on detail from the Office of the Solicitor General, described by former colleagues as one of the brightest criminal law experts of the past two generations.

Tom Fitton is a true American hero and Patriot.

If not for Judicial Watch, nobody would have ever heard of Crooked Hillary's classified emails. It was Judicial Watch that got the ball rolling releasing more than 2,000 pages of documents pursuant to a May 5, 2015 court order, after filing a lawsuit against the State Department for failing to comply with a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

It is surreal how corrupt and deceitful every one of these swamp creatures are!

POSTED ON JULY 21, 2017 BY JOHN HINDERAKER IN ROBERT MUELLER, RUSSIA, TRUMP ADMNINISTRATION

TRUMP FIGHTS BACK AGAINST MUELLER

I take it as a given that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is part of the Democratic Party’s effort to destroy the Trump administration. This is evidenced by the fact that he has staffed his investigation with Democratic Party activist lawyers and contributors to the Hillary Clinton campaign, and by his expansion of his “investigation” beyond any reasonable interpretation of his charge.

This is what the order appointing Mueller says he is empowered to investigate:

The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

Item (iii) authorizes the special counsel to look into efforts to obstruct his investigation, so Mueller’s mandate extends only to “links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump” and matters arising directly therefrom.

Mueller evidently hasn’t found any evidence linking the Trump campaign to whatever the Russians did during the 2016 campaign–no one else has either–so instead of giving up, he is broadening his investigation to include President Trump’s business dealings:

FBI investigators and others are looking at Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, Trump’s involvement in a controversial SoHo development in New York with Russian associates, the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow and Trump’s sale of a Florida mansion to a Russian oligarch in 2008, the person said.

What on God’s green Earth do the 2013 Miss Universe pageant or Trump’s sale of a house in 2008 have to do with Russian interference in the 2016 election? Nothing. Some have tried to argue that the Miss Universe pageant is relevant, on the ground that Donald Trump, Jr. met Rob Goldstone, who years later introduced him to a Russian lawyer, there.

But so what? Mueller apparently doesn’t have any evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russians to spear phish the DNC’s email accounts, and no matter how much he investigates the Miss Universe pageant, or Trump’s 2008 sale of a house, he still won’t have any such evidence.

I conclude that Mueller is not discharging his office of special counsel in good faith, but rather is acting as an agent of those who are trying to destroy or impede the Trump administration, and should be fired. Of course, whether President Trump thinks firing Mueller is politically viable is a separate question.

In the meantime, it is good to see that Trump is at least pushing back against Mueller. It was reported this morning that Trump’s lawyers are investigating Mueller’s lawyers, with a focus on conflicts of interest. That is good, but only a beginning. Trump and others in his administration need to make clear that they consider Mueller’s investigation illegitimate; that he has gone far beyond the mandate he was given by the Acting Attorney General; that he has hired a partisan, biased staff; that he is serving as a tool of the Democratic Party; and that his investigation is a fraud. They should accord Mueller and his staff no credibility whatsoever.

Trump is in a war. The good thing is, I think he knows it.

Too bad Trump isn't a Clinton, otherwise Mueller could be made to disappear rather easily.

My son Donald openly gave his e-mails to the media & authorities whereas Crooked Hillary Clinton deleted (& acid washed) her 33,000 e-mails!

So many people are asking why isn't the A.G. or Special Council looking at the many Hillary Clinton or Comey crimes. 33,000 e-mails deleted?

Someone needs to publicly post Mueller's home address online, then let the protests begin.

This is war.

As it always has been and likely always will be we are
getting a lot of lip service and no action.

If I'm wrong someone please correct me. Sessions is the AG.
The AG reports to the President. The President is Trump.

If Trump wants to stop this madness he needs to tell Sessions
to fire Mueller, say nothing to see here and move on. Then if
Trump really gives a fuck about Clinton et al he needs to instruct
Sessions to prepare a case then indict Clinton et al.

If not Trump needs to STFU and go about governing the country.
All this bullshit is becoming a bore. Shit or get off the pot.

At this point, firing Mueller would look terrible politically.
Only if you're a politician or a media hack. Your average voter doesn't care about politics they care about results.
If they cared about politics Hillary would be president.

There's a lot of posturing going on in this giant game of chicken. Who will make the first move and who will blink first?

Every time Mueller or one of his hacks 'leak' to the press, Trump goes on a calculated rampage on Twitter reminding everyone what's at stake. After the election, Trump decided to let bygones be bygones saying Crooked Hillary had suffered enough. Now that her deep state goons are coming after him for committing the unspeakable crime of beating the anointed queen, he's reminding them that he's the president and reserves the right to change his mind.

Sessions is the AG, therefore needs to unrecuse himself and take action: fire Obama-holdover Rosenstein and go after Mueller. It couldn't be simpler than that.

Sessions is a southern gentleman with many friends in the Senate and in normal times (if Democrats simply accepted the fact Trump won the election fair and square) he would probably make an excellent AG. But these aren't normal times - Trump needs a non-partisan vicious junkyard dog with loyalties to nobody in government except the president as his AG, to go after every one of the scum swamp creatures I mentioned... add Mueller to this list.

As of right now, Donald Trump is the president. Until the chess pieces start moving on either side, I will reserve judgment, but I believe Trump is setting up for a showdown with the deep swamp trying to undermine his presidency and agenda.

Joe, I'm a proponent of "The buck stops here."
If Trump needs something accomplished he tells his subordinates to "getter done."
Sessions job is not to read Trumps mind. It's Trumps job to outline
in specific what he wants. Then if Sessions doesn't comply, adios motherfucker.
I want a "Great White" as president not a scavenger fish.

What is it with the Republican party? Since Reagan and then Gingrich
I haven't seen a spine among them. It's time they change their name
to the Amoeba Party.

Here is a perfect example. I mean who's phucking side are these guys on ?
Would you ever hear this out of a Dem if the roles were reversed ?

Top Republican: Controversy surrounding Susan Rice unmasking was 'created' by Devin Nunes.
