I really think you're off with some stats on this... I hate to say I'm gonna fade you AND PPeter on this one, but the only thing that has kept me from pulling the trigger on over in the Nashville/NO game is the fact that you and PPeter are now both on the under. You're wrong about both teams liking to run the ball. New Orleans ran the ball last year with Dan Curran at fullback. Now Curran is in NFL Europe and New Orleans threw the ball more times (51) last week than anyone else. They ran the ball twice the entire game last week. Yes, Nashville ran the ball 22 times last week. But New Orleans only ran the ball twice, and the guy that carried the ball is now on IR.

In terms of the QB for LA, I don't know if you're talking about Tony Graziani (now in Philadelphia) or John Kaleo (who certainly isn't #2 in the AFL in passing efficiency... and wasn't last year either... not by a country mile). All that being said, I don't know whether or not I can agree with either or your picks here. I do believe the LA/GA game is under, but I don't know about the side. Would it really surprise me if LA won the game??? No, not really... but I don't think there's a value in taking a worse team that is giving points.

Just my two cents. Best of luck Ace. Don't mean to sound too harsh on ya. Just want to set you straight before you start kicking in the real bucks.

Must remember that Jim Kubiak has also been around the block a bit (I believe this is his 8th season in the league... don't quote me on that though). Both QBs are older than dirt and both are simply asked to not lose the game. Georgia's secondary/WR corps are better than that of Los Angeles in my estimation because of their size (they're all over 6'0" and one of them is 6'5"). I really think this game features two teams that are relatively even at the QB spot, advantage LA's line, and advantage Georgia's receivers. Both teams are in a really rough spot because of the divisons that they're in... the difference is that last week Georgia took out their division rival, while LA faltered down the stretch in theirs. Don't worry buddy, I'll keep you up with everything you do this year. Still love having you and your insight aboard!

I can't suggest going against San Jose at home against anyone, especially a team that was really held pretty well by Los Angeles at home. Vegas is going to score their points and so is San Jose, so I don't know about the under either. San Jose typically gets really pissed after getting beat and destroys someone... that being said, I think Vegas is going to be more of a sacrificial lamb tonight and less of an actual game. If Vegas gets to 45, this game is going to be over the total as well.

Curse you for mentioning Craig Whelihan... He destroyed the Predators chances of winning anything for the year he was there. The guy had an AFL record 24 fumbles lost that year... yes, over one a game... mostly thanks to not being able to handle a snap.
