Everyone is underestimating the Clippers

This is a solid basketball team. I am scratching my head when I see so many people on Denver tonight. The only explanation I can think of is that everyone doesn't think much of them.

I guess it must be some kind of east coast bias. No Kenyon Martin tonight either.

I feel like putting half my bankroll on Clips +5.

I just responded in another thread...but I think the line is actually a little low.

Denver had a losing record I believe with KMart. They play much better without him.

The elevation/home court advantage in Denver should be big as they should get a few more calls and get out on the break more often.

I am not betting any Clipper games in the playoffs as I am too big a fan, but I would be on Denver on this one.

Yeah denver is 29-9 SU the last 2 years without kmart and this year is 19-6 SU and 14-8 ATS.

i don't see the spread being a factor in this game. granted, i have no idea who's going to win...but there's just as good of a chance (if not more) of Denver winning big as there is of LA winning outright...

that's why taking the points doesn't offer much value, in my opinion. personally, i'm on LA +190. i think there's well over a 34% chance of LA winning straight-up.

You think the Suns or Lakers are gonna take the Clips out in 4? Zero chance of that happening. If it was the Spurs or Mavs, MAYBE...but it's not.

As for putting half your bankroll on the Clips tonight, that's outrageous. I actually like the Clips to cover, but it's still a tough spot for them on the road with that altitude against a great coach and a superstar in Anthony who has yet to make an impact in the series. He's due. Hopefully it won't happen tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Another guy just looking at the "Clippers" as if they are the same team as the past. This team should have won 50 games this year even with season long injuries to 2 of their top players.
