I'm going with the underdog here. Vasalund played in Division 1 last year. However, they have 2 wins and 1 draw in the Superettan.

I had really hoped to get +0.5 for Vasalund and Lyn. However, my options were limited since many books available to Americans were not offering those lines. Hopefully in the future they will be available as the season progresses.

As far as Alta is concerned, they had lost their last 3 matches by scores of 1-3, 0-7 and 0-5. For them to win 5-0 is nothing short of a shocker.

i actually played them small at -1.5 after reading your thread and they were down 0-4 by HT at home
i think it remains that over is the play in the 2nd norw division

Jönköping have won their 1st 2 at home. Trollhättan played in Division 1 last year. They are getting too much respect due to their wins over Ljungskile and Väsby which are at the bottom of the tables.

Göteborg recently lost to Elfsborg so they will be wanting to take 3 points here at home. They have won all 3 matches at home so I'm hoping they will win by at least 2 goals.

It may appear that Brann has turned things around since they won their last 2 matches. However, those victories were against the lowest team in the league and the 3rd lowest team.

Odd has not lost at home in 3 matches so far. I don't expect them to lose here either.

AIK Stockholm -0.5 1.64 over BK Häcken
Some may say that AIK has been too inconsistent to bet on. However, they started the season playing very well only to run into the buzzsaw that is Helsingborg and Trelleborg which are 2 of the top teams in the league. They will be giving a good effort here at home to make up for those 2 losses.

Häcken has just played poorly on the road in the league. Last year they played in the Superettan which is a league lower than the Allsvenskan. They should be no match for AIK.

Disclaimer: even though I am betting 3 units on this I have only just started following this Danish league so don't triple your bets based upon what I post here.

Why am I betting 3 units instead of my typical 1 unit or 2 units? This is another case of a team that has done poorly during the year only to put in a good effort late in the season just like NEC did last season in the Dutch league.

SønderjyskE has won their last 2 matches and is 1 point out of 2nd-to-last position in the league. The last 2 teams are relegated to a lower league at the end of the season so it is easy to see that they are putting forth a good effort.

Vejle has all but given up on the season having lost 5 out of their last 6 matches. They have only won 3 matches all season out of 28 played.

I see very little reason for Vejle to win this match. I'm taking 1 unit on the -0.5 to bolster my points in case of a win.

Brøndby IF -0.5 1.76 over Esbjerg fB
Brøndby is 5 points behind København for the top spot. They have scored 22 goals on the road compared to have only given up 10. They can beat Esbjerg who have won twice recently but those matches were against lower-tier teams.

I just had to shake my head at this one and check for any missings for Mjallby. I believe it is lined like this because Mjallby's last match was a 0-0 draw. They lead the league with 4 wins and 1 draw and have scored 11 goals to only having given up 3 and are at home.

Ängelholm has dropped their last 2 matches.

Ljungskile SK/Väsby United under 2.5 1.80
These are the bottom 2 teams in the league. Väsby has scored 2 goals in 5 matches while Ljungskile has scored 5 goals in 5 matches.

Norrköping has not won yet this year so why are they getting -1 AH here?

Vasalunds lost their last 3 but 2 of those were against teams toward the top of the table. Before that they played decent ball winning one match and drawing the other.

I think Vasalund is my new favorite team. However, I don't believe they will win against the top teams in the league. Maybe I will get good odds for them though.

I seem to be getting burned by taking the large favorites at a negative AH so I believe I will concentrate on the underdogs getting PK or +0.5. If I see a large favorite that I believe has an excellent chance to cover I will bet it but I will be extra careful with these bets.

Going with SønderjyskE again as they attempt to escape relegation since they are only 1 point above the second-to-last team (the bottom 2 teams in the league get relegated).

Nordsjælland has lost 5 in a row. I believe SønderjyskE can at least get a draw here resulting in a winning bet.
