Wow, I was a day late and missed the original reactions. Did John Sauders really defend any of the players reactions? How anyone can condone this kind of behavior is beyond me. I wish I had seen the initial reactions, because I think it shows a persons real true feelings. What they say now is tempered, in my opinion.

i like john saunders. when i worked there we played deck hockey a few times and luckily he was on my team all the time. he can PLAY hockey - he is damn good at it.


i'll never forget the one time he lined up at center for the faceoff. i was on the left wing and heard it all. he told the Exec Producer he was faced off against how he (Saunders) was going to win the faceoff, go past the guy, "dribble" in a few steps and let fly a slapshot that would beat the goalie high to the glove side.

sure enough, saunders wins the faceoff, dribbles in a few steps and lets fly a slapshot that beat the goalie high to the glove side. it was amazing!
