The usual ESPN Pre-Season garbage. Auburn, who may have the best team in the SEC is ranked 17th? Really? ESPN gets worse and worse every season.

RT, That is somewhat surprising to see the Aggs rated that high, Steele has them at #32 in his power poll. Maybe add the two and split the difference at around 20?

Arkansas and TAM this years USCe/TAM? They meet first game of the year.

Seriously, ESPN? Wisconsin was one of 5 programs that allowed less than 300 yards on D, they get a 4.1 for projected defense.

seems about right....20-25 would be my max. great WR but possibly frosh QB, new DC, new defensive scheme, and really the only talent on that side is super young.

still think that open date before Bama, while Bama is at UGA, could be the catalyst for an upset. hope not...

Wrong. 'Bama host Arkansas before going to Aggieland. Having trouble reading a schedule? 'Bama has a bad time defensively against spread teams, as Ohio State and Auburn pointed out last season.

It could be. Everybody seems to be high on Arkansas. But then I've heard good things about A&M too. The problem is everybody in one division can't be a winner. Somebody has to lose. Bama, Auburn and possibly LSU will be pretty good. So who is going to be the loser in that division? If I had to venture to guess i would say Arkansas because their talent level and depth aren't quite up to the rest of the programs in that division. But the early game with A$M will probably jump start one of these two programs season's. That'll be a big game for those teams...

Neither Arkansas or Texas A&M have a defense that matches up with Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss or LSU in the West.
Both teams suffer at linebacker and in the secondary. They simply can't measure up to the talent level of the other
West teams.

I actually like Arkansas in there Arlington, Texas game on September 26. The Hogs can run the ball with that
offensive line and two big backs.
