well then, that's that

when do you think there's going to be evidence surfacing linking TB to Sandusky because Belichick worked for Sandusky 40 years ago?

Peyton Manning is probably the only athlete I can say I actually "liked".

Most athletes aren't even remotely likeable or just float by on God given talent (see NBA)

When Papa John's announced Manning was the best ever (with subliminal advertising) it was one thing, but now ESPN too?

Is it possible this isn't the truth and they're subtly trying to brainwash us with volume advertising?

Ironically during the manning presentation they cut to a 5 second clip of manning montana papa john commercial, basically solidyfying what you already know.

Patsfan allow me to clarify waht you said..excuse me but to be clear, it wasnt papa johns selecting manning the greatest ever..

it was the nfl and public selecting him and papa johns was the flavor of the month advertiser allowed to present it.. Other than
the extensive resources papa johns put into researching manning as the greatest ever ( protecting his brand ) papa john was not involved in the aelection process.. This isnt like when the cowboys were named americas team when noone i know was asked to vote.. This is more substanial in scope , research and financial commitment to the process

Tb12 found out the hard way then they tried to buy and bully theyre way into the papajohns presentation.. This wasnt about money, clout or status.. Basically a lifetime acheivement award presented by a select advertiser that the nfl was generous enough to permit them to deliver to america

Metro: "ESPN has just made their selection as Manning the greatest ever.."

Actually, all day long this quote has been on the front page of ESPN.com:

Peyton Manning got his second Super Bowl title and is now going out on top after a remarkable career that puts him just behind Tom Brady and Joe Montana in the history of the league.

And the article goes on to say:
Last year, New England Patriotsquarterback Tom Brady passed Joe Montana and Unitas, in my opinion, by winning his fourth Super Bowl in six tries in one of the best Super Bowls ever played. Montana is Montana. He's No. 2.

So, congrats to Tom Brady, the greatest QB of all time.

As a Manning loyalist...Lets call it like it is.

ESPN like most media get caught up in the moment. Today Manning is the best ever, they will do the same thing when Brady retires in 2031 according to him. They did it with Favre, Montana, Elway, etc.

I have my opinion based on facts but going back and forth with the Northeast US is not what I want to do today.

okay Vlad, perhaps.. i was just relaying what they said this a.m. and what tim hassleback said .. i am in the northeast and i am partial however and willing to concede the pound for pound greatest of all time title to Manning over Brady for if no other reason than he completely changed the game.
