Enfuego’s Bowl Play of the Year Okie St./Missouri Over 62

I hit my CFB play of the year on Oklahoma St. at home against Baylor and my NFL play of the year with the Saints at home over Carolina. This will be 3-3.

You see it year after year…in bowl games, strange things happen. Points are easy to come by and players make big plays. It happened last night in the Sugar Bowl and will happen tonight in this matchup of Big 12 vs. SEC.

Missouri comes into this game #16 in the nation in rushing and #39 in passing. They are #15 in the nation in scoring offense averaging 39.0 PPG.

On the other hand, Oklahoma St. is not slouch on the offensive side either. They come in #12 in the nation in scoring averaging 39.8 PPG. They are #29 in the nation in passing and #63 in rushing offense.

Simply put, these teams can score and score quickly.

Over their last 5 games, Oklahoma St. has averaged 41 points while Missouri has averaged 34.6.

What I like is the turnover factor. Oklahoma St. has forced 30 turnovers on the year while Missouri has forced 29. Both of these teams get after it and I’m expecting at least two turnovers deep in the other team’s territory.

I expect a very high scoring Cotton Bowl with Missouri edging out the Cowboys 37-34 in a shootout.
