So, there's me and 3 other people left after 17 weeks in an elimination league (we each had 1 re-buy). So it's down to the final 4 and the rules are clear but I really don't wanna screw this up. Basic Rules: Pick 1 team a week and you can NOT pick them again. I'm trying to map out some decent picks with a path to the Superbowl. Anybody ever heard of these "after season" rules?! (I'd rather just split the pot but I guess they wanna keep playing).

Here's a link to a "bracket" but this can get tricky. What do you guys think? Any help would be appreciated..Thanks:) I'm leaning toward Dallas for week 1 but I dunno yet.

Dallas would be the obviously safest play this week BUT it might help your future with a play on Indianapolis. I wouldn't want to touch the other two games this week

Dallas, Denver, New England and Seattle or Green Bay to end it in that order

I won one of these a few years back and we were down to 5 going into playoffs. We did a money chop when at 5 and left another $7k to chase through the playoffs. You should offer the chop and leave some of the $ in the pot to play for- everyone gets a piece that way and still some to play for..

I always took the biggest favorite, Dallas in this case IMO, each week. Reasoning that there's usually the least chance of an upset. Trying to 'save' teams to pick later all too often winds up getting you eliminated.

Edit: referring to SU knockout pools here. It's different if its ATS.

I would have been ok with that. I guess one of them wants to go for broke so I gotta play it out! Still haven't picked a team yet:(
