been in a tailspin this week, so i'm gonna tread lightly, esp with 2 road faves

Miss St -7
Bad news for Ole Miss as their lone big guy Eddie won't play because of personal/academic problems. Last time out, they didn't even look to go inside against Arkansas in a 23 pt loss. Roberts should be able to control things on the inside, which opens it up for by far the more balanced team. Miss St by 17

Tennessee -1
Last time out, Vols got over the hump on the road at Georgia in what may well be UCLA transfer Andre Patterson's coming out party. Coach Peterson has been stressing shot selection, and the Vols return home with a boost in confidence. Vandy, which comes in 10-4 is 0-4 away from Memorial Gym, which includes neutral court games. All four losses were by double figures. Tennessee is one of the toughest places in the SEC for the road team. Vols by 12.

Wake Forest -4 1/2
Yep, another road fave. Wake knows they need to wi these type of games, they have the "easiest" road to the ACC title, because they don't have to travel to UNC or Maryland. They have been dominating on the boards of late, and now they also have "bulliten board" material. Seems like two of the young freshman from Clemson have "called out" the Wake guard combo of Gray and Paul. I have included an excerpt of this article below. Wake by 15.

Clemson struggles against Wake Forest

COMPILED BY DAN COLLINS

• Clemson has beaten Wake Forest once in the past six seasons, and has a 1-11 record against the Deacons since Coach Rick Barnes departed the Tigers program for Texas after the 1997-98 season. With the Tigers scheduled to play Wake Forest on Saturday in Littlejohn Coliseum, freshmen Cheyenne Moore and Sam Perry apparently haven't spent too much time perusing the media guide for recent results.

Both said they would consider it an upset if the fourth-ranked Deacons win.

"That is how we are thinking," Moore said. "If anybody beats us, it is an upset. I think we can compete with anybody. Yeah, it would be an upset, pretty much."

Said Perry: "I totally agree with him."

Moore, a 6-6 forward from South Kent, Conn., said he hopes to draw the defensive assignment of guarding Justin Gray, the Deacons' leading scorer with 16.2 points a game. He said fellow freshman Cliff Hammonds will probably guard point guard Chris Paul of the Deacons.

"I think Cliff gets Paul," Moore said. "I am hoping I get Gray. I want Gray. I always want the challenge."

Man, Vandy hit 18 3's, unbelieveable. i'll gladly take the 2-1, and put in my back pocket the knowledge that Tennessee is EVEN MORE OVERRATED than i thought. Thinking Tenn was putting it together after beating Georgia on the road. Guess Georgia is just REALLY BAD.
