I agree with this post.

Romney does seem to tote some legitimately strong business credentials. But the Chief Executive role in a state government seemed to befuddle him.

Which is not neccesarily a harsh slight. Responsibly managing a state level government to the satisfaction of the majority has befuddled many a decent man or woman over the past few decades.

Romney would have been just like Joe Biden, no impact. But if you love Mitt so much, there's a chance he will be part of a McCain cabinet.

Romney might have actually made a difference, in Michigan. Palin won't help win any states. McCain went for the gimmick and gimmicks usually end up failing like gimmicks.
