Two great games today, especially the shocker in NJ.
And these two excellent series pending:

Carolina vs BOSTON

Pittsburg vs WASHINGTON

What the lines "should be":

Carolina -150
Boston +170

Pittsburg +120
Washington -130

But i expect the favs "will be" considerably higher.

X, curious how you think Carolina should be such a big favorite over Boston???

Boston is a far deeper team than Carolina and have the advantage in goal also...
Please shed some light so I can understand...
I would be all over Boston +170 for the series... Will you take that action??? LOL

Washington -150
Pittsburgh +130

Boston -210
Carolina +180

tks

The Bruins at -200 looks like the best bet. Not only are they well rested, they have the better defence , the better power play, the better penalty killing, the better plus-minus for their roster. The Bruins are more balance scoring with 7 plus 20 goal scorers. Carolina only have 4 plus 20 goal scorers and the Bruins will stifle Eric Staal line. Not handing the Cup to the Bruins but this matchup clearly is in the Bruins favor. Bruins in 5

Detroit will exploited the Ducks goaltending . Prior to the Shark-Ana series , the weak spot on the team was the questionable goaltending. Funny thing is the same thing could be said about the Wings goaltending but Ozzie has 3 Stanley Cup rings. The Sharks just can,t play playoff hockey. I am not putting much stock into the Ducks upsetting the Sharks. The Shark are chokers. I think this series is going to be a little higher scoring. Detroit won,t shut down the Ducks totally like they shut down Columbus, but I see the Wings winning this series pretty easy. Det in 6

The Pitt-Was series should be high scoring too. These teams are pretty evenly match with a couple factors in the Pens favor. Is this rookie Washington goaltender gonna holdup against Penquins snipers. The Rangers had no snipers and took Was to 7 games. The other advantage is that the Pens players have more playoff experience. Very tough series to pick

The Hawks-Canucks is hard to get a handle on it. These team are very evenly match. This series will probaly be decided by luck or what team get the bounces. The Hawks beat the Flames but Flames had injuries .The Canuck beat the Blues 4 straight but clearly Blues play poorly going only 1-24 on the powerplay. Going into the Blues-Canucks series the Blues had the better penalty killing and the better power play . The Blues couldn,t score on 3 , 5 on 3 powerplay opportunties. It played out the other way with the Canucks playing much better in those areas. Yet the Blues were very much in each of those contests. I doubt Van shut down Chicago power play the way they shut the Blues down. Nick Habbibulin has won a cup so slight advantage in the net.
