I think they're some better bets on the board. Florida has had UT's number the past few years, but this UT team seems to be different. Florida has typically started out slow under Zook, then catch fire toward the middle of the year. Tennessee has a very solid team this year. They were a question mark b/c of the QB position. If their QBs are as good as they looked in that first game, they'll be very tough to beat this year.

TAKE UF AT +3. UT is starting 2 Freshman Qb's and rotating them. Yes this game may be in Knoxville and at night but UF will play the receivers tight and let the young QB's make mistakes. UF rolls in this one 28-24.

My guess is Florida will bring their safeties up and stuff the run, forcing a freshman QB to beat them. Unlv gave up 245 yards on the ground to Tenn, IF tenn doesn't get 100 and I don't think they will, these QB's better be as good as their press.THese are not even redshirt freshman QB's, tall order for 2 kids that were playing high school last year. I will take my chances with Florida.

I don't get caught up in how old they are. Isn't Chris Leak just two years out of high school? Anyone that saw that lefty QB for Tenn. surely has some respect for him. He can do it all, pass, run, check out of bad plays.

Dan, I didn't write anything about age. If your telling me that experience doesn't matter, I would say without a doubt you are the only person that knows anything about college football or any sport for that matter, that really believes that.Tenn, may win the game but at the end of the year the two freshman QB's will be better Qbs then they are now.

Jdog,
I didn't say anything about age either. I was just asking a question. Is Leak just two years out of high school, or is he a redshirt sophomore? But, one year of SEC football under his belt does equal a big edge to being right out of high school.
I quoted in the other thread that this game will probably come down to who wins the rushing battle anyway. The team that rushed for more yards has won 12 of the last 14. So the better questions might be to ask who will win the ground game.
