Looking for the season to start up here soon and looking to give out picks for each and everyday in the NHL season. Only 1 pick per day that is where I made my money last year.

I started posting late last season on here and had a bit of a break even playoff run but overall the goal was +20 units and I met that.

Last years record was
43-30-1 / +21.55 units

Today's play

Well it is great to have another NHL season starting up. The opening few weeks are always unpredictable and you really never know what you are going to get. Last year I started making picks in the second half of the season and was fairly successful, this year starting from day one will be alot more challenging but I will continue to stick with my one pick a day strategy and each bet is for 1 unit how ever you want to play that. Some tight lines for tonights games, obviously at first glance the Sharks look like an easy play at -170 but not sure it is worth the juice straight up on night one.

I like the even money for a team that has put a lot of new faces in play. I think Montreal gets plenty of Power Play opportunities tonight and converts at least 2 of those. Toronto yes are my favourite team and Montreal yes are my least favourite team but at the price Montreal is the play. Leafs will need a good month to gel together and find their game. Montreal on the other hand I think will come out swinging in this heated rivalry and sneak out of Toronto with the win.

My Gut actually wants the Leafs to win, I think it will be a fantastic game. Remember last year opening night Toronto went into Detriot and beat them. I think it could be a fun year to be a Leafs fan once again. Well maybe next year but you always have to be optomistic opening night.

Tomorrows play will be on the Blackhawks I will post it officially once the line is out, but it is an early game. Got Lucky with Montreal tonight, the Leafs looked like the better team. Good Luck tomorrow!
