Canes come to play every night Lipps. Their one of the top Corsi teams as well. Through 9 games they've been out worked/played in only 3 of them and 2 were on the tail end of back to backs. Caps and Sharks. Kings outplayed them but look how good L.A. is now. I had them WAYYYYY down the totem pole to start the season but they've really changed my mind so far. And this was after a not very good 14-15 season and pretty much standing pat in the off season. They've opened my eyes. Though I'm not on them tonight playing game 7 in a 7 game roadie.
That game 7 was one of the main reasons I took the Isles. Well that and Lack I knew was going start. Corsi is the hot thing now and where I think it has a place I believe people are putting way too much stock in it. The Kings were the top Corsi last year and remember where they were last year ? Playing golf when the playoffs started.
Yea I dont get it either. They have totally manhandled my Wings 3 times already this month. And the games were not even that close. They must have REALLY underachieved last season in Peters first season as coach. Peters a former Wing assistant BTW. They start learning how to win consistently and they are going to knock a familiar Eastern team out of the playoff hunt.
