I have my derby horse. If you look back at the thread for the Gotham Stakes and the Wood Memorial here in the Horse Racing Forum you'll see who I have. That being said however, we are still a week away from the Derby with another workout yet to be completed and of course post positions and weather all unknown at this time.

This one turn mile out of the shoot appears to have some pretty lively speedsters up front. Supreme Summit looks to be the speed of the speed with This Ones For Phil likely to be sitting and stalking from the inside. If a speed duel develops, look for Gone Astray to be coming down the stretch. Believe Mr. Fantasy coming out of the Gotham (Grade III) won't be able to rate behind the speed here and have anything left in the stretch and Just A Coincidence coming out of the Wood Memorial (Grade I) where the quarter fractions were slow doesn't appear to have been meant for this race and is back in three weeks after a grueling stretch battle with I Want Revenge.

Going to agree with Greenhead and thesportsforecaster here and take a chance that a speed duel will not develop and O'Neill's horse will control the race from start to finish. He appears freshened and well placed for this race.

#4 Supreme Summit (Win & Place)

Good luck everyone!

hey guys- 10 minutes to post. not sure this is the greatest spot in the world for him, but as greenie mentioned, this is my BC sprint horse, so a mile is probably stretching him with his pedigree. however, he's first time dirt and he's a complete freakshow, so he's got my (significant) amount of cash on his back today.
