This race appears to have a nice pace presence out of the shoot and down the backstretch with Backbackbackgone likely leading but perhaps getting some pressure from Canonize. This may set up for some tiring speed down the stretch the last 1/16. Long ago, I found that often times the best horse at 7 furlongs is a good 1 & 1/16 mile horse. In this race, Lewis' horse is showing a sharp finishing style and bullet work on 5/7/09 going 46:1 handily (the best out of 33 works at the distance that day). Rosario is in the irons, is riding at 24% winners at the meet and was on this guy two races back where he closed to win. Looks like he could be a nice price here.
