DRF Race Of The Day - Belmont Park Race 8 - June 3

Belmont Park presents an allowance race for fillies and mares 3 year olds and up running 1 & 1/16 on the turf for a purse of $46,000. Currently 8 horses are scheduled to run if the race stays on the turf while 2 additional horses are entered for the main track only (MTO) with post being 4:45 p.m. EDT. This is an open thread with all opinions, thoughts, selections, discussion, whatever very much welcome. Best of luck.

Interesting field filled with stalkers, plodders and closers. Only speed in the race is Frankel's horse. A couple of first time returners as well as second time performers after a layoff. Visualize that this race gets stolen wire to wire.

8. Malibu Prayer broke maiden by 13 when last out on April 17; looks best if race is moved to the main. Blitzen Too hasn't been out since Nov. 5 but returns for Clement and is 2-for-4 over this strip. Forest Trail adds blinkers after running a close second in return; blinkers go on. Sonic Sound breaks from the rail seeking third in a row
