Draft position vs winning

Which is more important to the non playoff teams? Could be some eggs laid today. Thoughts?

I think the Giants vs Redskins game might be a battle of who doesn’t wanna win vs who wants to win. Possibly for Miami and Cincinnati also.

I don't know that players care about draft picks. I think they play for themselves and their future $$$. That said there are players that quit and don't put out the effort cause they know they will already get the $$$.

But does the higher ups instruct or influence game plans that may affect the chances of winning?

Players are not involved, not told to lose, no way. If there was ONE SHRED of evidence and / or if ONE player comes out to say they were told to lose, all hell would break out in the NFL.
Maybe a coach will be told to find a way to call some bad plays or bad defensive formations or put in the wrong personnel if the game is close... or maybe he will do it on his own to get a player like Young instead of the #3 pick.

Agree with Serbone. All it takes is one player being released or disgruntled for any reason and that's it. I can see GM's and coaches conspiring to lose though.
