Dr. Hoops NBA season long thread

Here I will be posting my NBA picks. I generally do the best in NBA games, so that is why I wanted to share my picks and hopefully it helps. I use a variety of things to determine my plays. Everything from what the public is on, my buddies (degenerate losers) are on, to player injuries, to road performance. I even have a friend who works as a bartender at a Las Vegas sports book and passes along info from time to time. I rarely play totals. I don't do parlays or teasers. Yes I dabbled in those before but I'm all about winners and solid money management now. Hope this helps. When I feel strongly about a play I will include a short write up, but those will be rare. I would rather pick the games for my reasons and post it.

Toronto may be good but they are going to have to prove it to me. Milwaukee has been good to me lately and getting points is even better.
Memphis is good at home but I don't like them when they are favored. They seem to find a way to win or keep it close but never really dominate.

After getting a 3-0 sweep a few days ago, the betting gods humbled me with an 0-3 day. It reminded me this is not a sprint, it's a marathon. So I got focused and followed it up with two wins. Also I studied those losses and I think it will help me cap better in the future. By the way that was the first day where I didn't hit anything! I have more 3-0 days, so I'm not going to let it bother me. No plays today. Spent some time with the family and watching football. Will be back tomorrow.
