For first time the DOW will nosedive sharply after election night.

Yup...had them Monday, Tuesday, last week...companies reporting bad earnings for a month...yet the stock market has risen from 8300 to 9600 since last Monday...

Mere coincidence it is going to take a dump today?

It has begun D2...

Unemployment by this time next year will reach 7%.

I think the market has foresight gasman, meaning an Obama win was already reflected in the market.

I think the credit crunch crisis tanked the markets. After that, Obama's resulting rise in the polls probably didn't help the markets. But by today, his victory was already accounted for.

This two year drumbeat of bad news, some real & and a lot of hyperbole, ruined consumer confidence and may very well become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When a industry, that pumped a billion dollars a year into the economy, ceases to exist, Its not good economic news.

Dont think the campaign's ending caught the street by surprise though.

Im from Ohio.

Obama = worst than Jimmie Carter

Jimmie Carter = inflation, unemployment,

Obama = inflation, unemployemnt

As you see, through deductive reasoning, you can see that Obama being worse than Jimmie Carter with his planned taxes and spending, and I know that Jimmie Carters taxing and spending caused massive amounts of inflation and unemployment, I can deduct that when Obama puts out his plan, inflation and unemployment will do what it did when Carter was in office..

Oh, and now throw in the socialist angle, peeps wont have to pay for their gas or their mortgate anymore...

So why work?

unsustainably living beyond your means on vast amounts of credit and bubbling home prices is a self fulfilling prophecy too

which ulimately leads to doom

:toast:

that said alot of this socialistic/fascist capitalist type shit that is blowing up in our face has building for a long long time

and goes way beyond just bush, or obama, or whoever.....some of it like FNM etc...dates all the way back to the 30s

i firmly believe obama is FDR part duex

although i don't find obama to be as convincing a leader as FDR

should be an interesting 4 years that's for sure the doom has just begun economically

history tends to repeat itself

Instead of trying to Smear the Dems more you should probably work on reinventing your own Weak ASS party, and re-examine WHY The Republican platform didnt and will not work... You should probably mention to party leaders that Racism isnt cool, and if your party is gonna grow they need to be inclusive... otherwise the GOP is done done done...
