Mcaffrey is a G..... That kid went bananas on iowa... Almost 200 rushing yards, over 100 receiving yards and a td and a punt return td lol.....I'm not taking anything away from Henry winning the heisman but mccaffrey was the better all around player no doubt. When you really break down Henry's season you realize he played against better defenses but had fournette played that game at the beginning of the year he would have had just as many yards as Henry and would have done it playing on an inferior team. Think about that.. Henry won because of the medias image of him and the fact that he plays for Alabama and in the sec.... That's the trifecta, breaking Hershel's record was the icing on the cake. After watching each guys performance in these bowl games it's clear cut who the best overall player is, and that's mccaffrey. Henry is going to be great no doubt and I tip my cap to him, but fournette did virtually the same with a game less, now two...
the heisman trust is placing way to much emphasis on team wins and whether or not that players team is in contention for the playoffs/championship....
Big what if and hypothetical situation here but .......
what if fournette breaks Henry's record next year and mccaffrey breaks his own records again...? Does fournette win the heisman because he broke the sec rushing record ? Or would you finally give the nod to mccaffrey?
