I just found out that a good friend of mine is now in a coma. Him and his girlfriend were crossing the street, in the crosswalk, late Friday night and were hit by a car. The car fled the scene. His girlfriend died instantly, police said. I'm told my friend is not recognizable.
I'm only getting info as my friends tell me. The man turned himself in today, Tuesday.
I've never had to deal with this before, and I don't even know why I'm telling you guys here at The Rx this. I'm sorry for this, it's none of your business, I'm just kinda out-of-it. I just wanted to say it.
Sorry
Justin

It can all change in an instant and nothing can heal your pain but time...

My best friend was killed in a car accident when I was 18 and it was the worst pain I have ever had to this day...

Man thats just awful.

I had a guy I worked with die last night in his sleep. Left work early yesterday and didn't show up this morning. Some folks from the company went to his house this morning with the door locked and the car in the driveway. Kicked in the door and found he had passed in his sleep still in the bed.

I really appreciate it everyone. I haven't seen any thread like this before so I didn't know if it was a good idea to post it. But, now I know it was a good thing. It's hard for me to type this right now. It's a lot easier to "let it out" from all your comments, which I think is good. Thank you very much. Bill, yes, it was in Springfield.

Hang in there Justin.

Bill Dozer, yes it was in Springfield. You live close by so you probably already heard about the murder Sunday night then.

A lot of bad things happening lately. I hope things get better soon.

If I dont post before Thanksgiving, everyone have a happy Holiday.

Wow
When things like this happen it really eats me inside. A good friend of my father went through a very similar situation years ago with his daughter and her friend. It comes from out of nowhere and its so foreign, one doesnt know how/what to feel.
I send you my best.

Justin,

There is probably nothing I can say that will make you feel better. All I can tell you is I'll pray for you and your friends to find the strenght to get through this.

Be Strong but if it helps to cry go ahead, there is nothing wrong with that.

Did this person work in CR before?
Actually a friend of mine was there. He was pretty shaken up. Its a small world I guess.
We all hope everything is OK. You never want to hear about someone being cheated out of their well being.
I had an ear out to see what the deal with the driver was. I guess he turned himself in.

Good morning to all. I really appreciate everyone's response. I read them over and over again; and it made me feel a lot better, so thank you. It was a lot easier to let it out afterwards.
Just like a few of you guys said, it can happen in one second and with out warning. Just coming in this morning, a saw a car almost get slaughtered by a bus. I thought how easy it could be for the same thing to happen to me or anyone else.
So, I will be praying as well.
Thanks agian,
