4 runs to the D-Rays in the 8th and are now trailing 6-4. The Yankees just finished off the O's 2-1. I hope Boston can get it's act together soon it looks like they are on the ropes. That series at the end of the year with the Yanks looks like it's going to be a mini-playoff series.

Boston playing how many days in a row didn't help either

It's nothing to cry sour grapes over, but it definitely has its impact

The Red Sox will be the team without a place to go at the end of the season unless the White Sox lose every game that they have left in the season.

Cleveland will win the central
Yankees win the east
White Sox will win the wild card

No doubt about it!

I look for the WHite Sox to lose it because of the Schedule. Cleveland gets to play White SOx the last 3 games of the year.

But the main thing is that they get to play 4 games against Kansas City while the White Sox have to play against Minnesota and Johan Santana

Francona gets the blame here. Timlin has failed with inherited runners all year -- he could have chosen anyone else and would have fared better. Terrible move Terry - the finger points at you!

BTW, RedSox and Yanks are both in playoffs - count on it!

Never seen a whole game of baseball in my life - TV or otherwise. But
this baseball business with Boston, the yankees, cleveland and now the white sox getting dragged in to it is riveting stuff.
Even I find myself following it on gamecast!

That fuckin Francona ought to be beaten and blugeoned with a dirty dildo the fuckin asshole.

One ques. I'd love to ask him....What the fuck are Delcarmen,Paplebon and Hansen doing on the roster if your not using them??

I hope Lou Pinella manges them next year and let Francona give Millar rim jobs on his own time.

Not sure if it matters but Foulke is gone for playoffs. Who will they send to bullpen? Arroyo or Clement --- how about Schilling, I wouldnt mind that actually but no way would he accept that status. Keep Wakefield in rotation, he's in great form right now.

There not sending anyone to the bullpen. They've got plenty of arms down there. Problem is, THEY ALL SUCK!!! Blows that now I have to sit here and root for KC and Baltimore.

I don't see any other way unless one of these other relievers shows incredible improvement, otherwise they are just crapshooting with what they got.
