I realize some of you had a losing opening weekend in football. However, dont get down on yourselves and make a point to stay within your betting limits and dont try and get it all back this weekend with terrible money management.

STAY CONFIDENT and STAY THE COURSE!!
GOOD LUCK BATGRINDERS!!

Although I agree with you, its probably not the best advice. Most people I know can't make money gambling ever....

I lost 23% of my bankroll last week. I will increase my betting this week

Strut, couldn't agree more, gambling is virtually a 365 day season which is filled with good and bad runs, forget about chasing..chalk up a losing week as just that..a losing week. Start fresh and continue money proper management.

JJ Gold, funny stuff.. I'd think you to smart to try that, good luck next week.

The worse thing you can do is start chasing and betting more than you normally do just to get it back quick.

Take the loss and move on to the next game. Also, stay confident in your bets...don't start doubting yourself or second guess evey bet you start to make...lo I have been guilty of this on MANY occasions...lol

Good advice STRUTT!!!

Think of your gambling as a lifelong pursuit of winning.......not a daily, weekly, or even yearly venture.

Good points. In poker they teach you to look at a losing session as just another hand in an on-going game that never ends. You may realize you won or lost XX amount that day but when you "keep score" on an annual basis it helps to keep you from overreacting to a bad day or two. Don't start chasing and get off your game trying to get back ahead after a bad week or so. Keep your eye on the long term goal.

I totally DISAGREE with this one strutt...I do bet for fun. It is PURE entertainment to me. there are weeks I go without betting . So for some, IMO it is just for the fun and entertainment
