I guess by posting this Wil you are looking for some feedback. Ok here's mine:

I've noticed that Tocco has become a bit angry lately. Most of that is not directed at other posters, but how he feels about the general state of things.

I think it crosses the line to call our leader a cocksucker, regardless of one's political leanings.

However there are many differences between Tocco and Mercer. Tocco can be reasoned with; Mercer is unreasonable 100% of the time! Mercer is so sickening I'd buy Railbird dinner 10 times and listen to his hate rhetoric before I'd let Mercer treat me to dinner once. Now that's sickening!

There is only one real similarity between Tocco and Mercer. And that's the failure to differentiate between when to add a reply to an existing thread and not start a new one about the exact same topic. Afterall, "The Stimulus Blows" and "The Stimulus Sucks Donkey Cock" are the same subject! But even in this regard Mercer is exponentially worse.
