That first lateral looked close to a forward pass...doesn't matter now as the kick (or hold placement) was no good.

check out the NFL on Fox. N.O. lateraled several times to score a touchdown with no time remaining but missed the extra point to tie the game.

I haven't seen it, but this must be the biggest anti climax in an NFL match for ages. At least the Saints were probably going to miss out on the playoffs anyway.
I don't like people moaning after they've backed a loser, but in this case I really do sympathise with anyone who was on Jax -1.5. The most unlucky thing I've encountered since Cleve +5.5 failed to cover at Chicago 2 years ago after leading by 14 with 2 mins to go.

NO +2 was my last game of a three team dime parly, had Wichita St -6- and Wild -165 last night. I left the casino with 2:00 min left figured i had lost. my son called me, i didnt believe him. watching cbs highlights now. tks lord +4781.80

last year the saints picked off a menaingless td against carolina to cover 1 4.5 spread on the road.

That was bad too.

This sucked for me having the over. I thought I was blessed...and then turn on the tv, to see Carney miss. How do you miss an extra point?

Situations like these are exactly the reason I go moneyline instead of the -1 or -2.
