I feel like people are trying real hard to convince themselves that the Panthers not only cover, but have a chance SU. Sure, in the NFL any team can beat another on any given Sun...err, day. However today isn't one of them. Seattle has been money for me in the postseason and it continues here. I got in at 10.5 and looks like the line moved to 11 in most places. It's enticing if your a Panther backer, but don't take the bait.
Say what you want about Seattle's offense, but whether or not they show up today is more or less irrelevant given that they usually do enough to get the W and it doesn't change here against Carolina's D that has been better to end the year. As long as beast mode is playing, it won't matter. It's Seattle's defense that has been lights out for over a month that makes me so confident. Caroline is on fire-ish, but I don't buy it all the way. Most of the wins were against the familiarity of division foes and then of course the Lindley-led Cardinals. Yuck!
Recent history suggests a tough game, however all those games were in Carolina. Being this one is in Seattle, in the playoffs, it's a much different beast (no pun intended). Carolina doesn't have enough offensively and I don't trust the off-the-back-foot throwing Cam to carry the load. Seattle will shut these guys down. Take the points and thank me later. Don't be a sucker!
