[h=1]Don't anger Black Lives Matters activists by mentioning 'black-on-black crime': What Democratic staff were told[/h]

  • Leaked House Democratic campaign committee coaches candidates on how to handle protesters
  • 'Don't offer support for concrete policy positions'
  • 'Listen to their concerns'
  • 'Please aim for personal or small group meetings'
  • Document was posted on the Guccifer 2.0 website – where hacked
  • Presidential candidates had 'struggled to respond' to the group's tactics, which included interrupting speakers
  • Guccifer 2.0 says the doc came from House minority leader Nancy Pelosi's computer
  • Same hacker is linked to DNC hack that brought down Debbie Wasserman Schultz

In the midst a spate of Black Lives Matter protests that put presidential candidates on the spot during speeches last year, a staffer for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee coached Democratic staffers on how to avoid antagonizing the group.
The memo, which was published on the web site of hacker Guccifer 2.0, provides step-by-step guidance on how candidates can avoid ticking off protesters.
'Do not say 'all lives matter' and nor mention 'black on black crime,'' it advises.
'If approached by BLM activists, campaign staff should offer to meet with local activists. Invited BLM attendees should be limited,' according to the memo.
'Please aim for personal or small group meetings. Listen to their concerns,' the memo advised.

A House Democratic campaign committee provided guidance on how to handle Black Lives Matter protesters. One no-no: saying 'all lives matter'

Another pro-tip offered: 'Don't offer support for concrete policy positions. Frontline district staff should meet with activists.'
The embarrassing memo was reported byThe Smoking Gun website.
The advice was prompted by a touchy issue facing candidates. Several months before the memo was dated, Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley had to apologize after saying 'all lives matter' when he was confronted by protesters shouting 'Black Lives Matter!' at a Netroots Nation conference.
'I meant no disrespect,' O'Malley said later. The statement that got him in hot water occurred when he said: 'Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter.'
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders also endured protests during their own appearances.

The memo provides guidance to keep the advice confidential, stating that the document 'should not be emailed or handed to anyone outside of the building. Please only give campaign staff these best practices in meetings or over the phone.'

Russian-linked hacker Guccifer 2.0, who is believed to be behind the hack of the DNC, posted the latest documents. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who won her primary Tuesday, resigned her post as head of the DNC following the release of DNC documents

The House committee provided guidance after presidential candidates including former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley had difficulty contending with Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted their speeches

The memo uses another loaded phrase, advising: 'Be a partner and lead from behind,' a phrase that got the Obama administration in trouble when an administration was quoted saying it.
Hillary Clinton seemed to be following the proscribed playbook when she met with a small group of Black Lives Matters protesters for 15 minutes last August.
'The 2016 candidate even gave suggestions to the activists, telling them that without a concrete plan their movement will get nothing but 'lip service from as many white people as you can pack into Yankee Stadium and a million more like it.'
The memo's author, Troy Perry, left the DCCC and now works for the Clinton campaign.

'The DCCC highly respects and values the leadership of the Black Lives Matter movement,' said DCCC spokeswoman Meredith Kelly in a statement, where she did not deny the authenticity of the document.
'In less than two years, BLM has evolved from three words into a political force that is changing and waking our nation. At the DCCC, we highly encourage our candidates to not only embrace the importance of this movement, but to meet with and listen to community activists to partner on social change,' she said.
'We will not allow this hacking to distract from our common goals nor disparage the BLM movement. We continue to welcome further engagement with activists and BLM leaders nationwide,' Kelly added.
'As you see I've been gradually posting DCCC docs on different states,' Guccifer 2.0 wrote. 'But besides that I have a folder from the Nancy Pelosi's PC and I'd like to share some docs from it with you.'
Guccifer 2.0 is the same hacker reportedly behind the hack of Democratic National Committee documents that resulted in former chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz stepping down.
Pelosi's office declined comment to The Hill, but Pelosi, who gets high-level briefings, said this month in reference to the DNC hack, 'I know for sure that it is the Russians.' She called it a 'Watergate-like electronic break-in.'

That isn't the point. The point is that it's not a win/win for society.
That's your opinion. I disagree. In those neighborhoods the children will grow up to
be gang bangers and the women will do nothing more than reproduce. It has been that way
for generations and it will continue. Get used to it.

Oh you didn't hear? Young black kids are collateral damage because nobody from impoverished areas has ever had a positive impact on society. They all grow up to be killers and baby machines.

Dave007 thinking is a big part of some of the problems in this country. It's the old guy mentality that doesn't have a clue.

His comments are disgraceful.

Zzzzzzzzz. Dumb old fuck.....not a clue what's going on in the world and his only reason for waking up is hoping I mention him so he can post his dog picture. What a waste of space on this planet. Thankfully he's gone soon.

figure out when the joke is over. Nobody finds that picture amusing anymore. Pathetic

If that bothered me.....I would stop posting.

You don't realize that it's not funny and was only funny the first time. You old time republicans are one trick ponies.....very boring and horrible sense of humor.

You wake up waiting for me to acknowledge you and troll the Internet to defend kiddie porn. Nice life.
