Hey guys, thinking I will keep it all here for the season. I'll post my personal plays which you can fade/follow as well as my pick5 league fades (which have been pretty good over the years).

* = 1 unit
** = 2 units... etc

Tonight:

I'm sure someone has the stat, but the team who wins the superbowl is 16-1 ATS during week 1 of the following season.

I'm taking Patriots -7 -115 **

Dude, that 16-1 ATS record is way off.......

Good luck on the season.........

Whatup TCG? Good too see you back around these parts-- I appreciate the comment, but perhaps you can enlighten me as to what the record actually is?

It's gotta be close like 15-2 or 14-3

This from across the street:

Defending Super Bowl champs have ridden that wave of momentum to a stellar 12-3 SU and 10-4-1 ATS record in Week 1 the following season since 2000, most recently the Seattle Seahawks beating the Green Bay Packers 36-16 as 4.5-point favorites in a Thursday night opener last September.

The team that lost in the Big Game isn’t so lucky. Apparently, getting over that crushing defeat takes more than an offseason, with Super Bowl losers going 6-9 SU and only 3-12 ATS the last 15 seasons. The Denver Broncos, who were blown out by Seattle in Super Bowl XLVIII, defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-24 in Week 1 but couldn’t cover the 8-point spread.

The 12-3 SU & the 10-4-1 ATS sounds about right bro.........

The Pats on a teaser is very solid IMO.......& with Pitts starting center & rb being out, Pats have the upper hand.

What about with the Pats starting center and RB out? Not to mention their number 2 WR. And the entire secondary that was a major contributor to their playoff success

Push on the first game, but I'll take the early win in my pick 5 pool.

My pool does allow for switching picks before a game is played, and so I moved off of Denver and instead onto Minnesota.

Patriots -6.5 (W)
St. Louis +3.5
Chargers -2.5
MINNESOTA -2.5
Philly - 2.5

I will have the pool fades up in the morning. There are 3 of them.

I forget. Do you play these plays or fade them? I thought it was your office pool

it's gonna be in this thread too? If so, thanks.

I'm keeping everything here this year. Seems to be what all the cool kids are doing.

I haven't posted the fades yet. The 5 that I already posted are my personal pick 5 picks in the pool. I will be posting my own cash picks, pick 5 picks, and fades in this thread.
