Don Best just doesnt give me a fuzzy feeling...

I know Ive written down similar things in the past few weeks but for some time know Ive been thinking someone at Don Best or Don Best as a whole is up to something....

Call it ESP (or ESPN like the girl on Scary Movie 3 did) but some of these line moves just smell funny...

Not only line moves but player information such as yesterday where the Knicks line drops, the total goes up and only like 10 minutes later does the announcement that J O'Neal was going to play.... I know its obvious but its kinda bothersome that the announcement is made considerable time later....

Dunno, maybe Im just losing it but I think somethings up....

Pinnacle had that injury an hour before don best. Pinnacle was using Toronto minus 4.5 minus 112 take back plus 102. What a joke.

sub did the line move just before the start of the game? came home last night after the game and i noticed the line on therx live lines had rap -4.5 ac**** the board except at grande-6.5

....also i am noticing this morning that the line had closed at 7 or even 8 at donbest. just wanted to know if that was a

last minute line move THANKS!

Wow Pinnacle must be fortune tellers - I was watching the game, and the pregame and McGrady decided during the final shootaround that he didn't or couldn't play. This was 7 mins before the game started, they showed him with 6 mins left in the pregame clock trotting off the court. 2 mins later the announcers confirmed that he was out of the game, 1 min later donbest posted the info.

No wonder Pinnacle can offer the lowest juice in the industry, they can predict the future in regards to player injuries.

FWIW - I had the over in the 1H and got off of some of it at pinnacle because they had a high 1H total 5 mins to post -

I think Don Best reports the current lines accurately and better than anyone else does.

If the books move the numbers based on some Billy Walters fake move, Don Best reports the line move immediately once the books make it. That's DB's job.

Now syndicates putting in fake moves... I'm sure that happens all the time.

By the way, there is value to knowing that. Lots of value... if you can figure out the fakes from the real.

Having ties to the mob makes you an icon? Come up with a cleaner statement than that Shrink. check Corbo Sr's ties and you will see that it was either his way or you got thrown on the highway. Are they a valuable tool to use if your a bookmaker or large bettor? The answer is yes. Are they an icon? In my opinion no. By the way, I don't respect the king of the garbage business who is really dirty, Wayne Hizenga either.

It was a late move. As soon as they gave the info, the line moved from -4½ to -6½ and 7 some places, 1 min before the game started. I do relize DB is the best in their field right now, I wouldn't go as far as to say they are an "icon" either, all i'm saying is that sometimes they do weird stuff that makes you wonder....
