Got one yorkee for the kids a few years back. She part of the family at this point but looks bored with no one to play with.

If I get another pup do they play or is it just madness?

female SS

She goes nuts whenever she sees another dog when we walk her. You think I should get a girl or boy for more peace?

Good to see ya man. Shitty story about your wifes deal.

I had twin sisters and they couldn't be more close. They kept each other busy especially when I wasn't home.

They used to bark at every other dog on their walks but when I moved in with a friend they got along with their dog just fine. All 3 went on walks.

Get another girl. The one will get used to the other.

Great shit guys. Good to hear the stories.

Bad or good idea to try SPCA? Bought my first one out of puppy store but was going to try another route this time.

Seymour`s greatest quote of his life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dogs are pack animals..99% of the time 2 is better than one ( there are some rare exceptions who wanna be the only child)...

Then once you have 2..you realize you are already fucked so a third dont make a damn difference..then once you have 3..you realize a fourth wont make a damn difference if you have the room...whats a couple extra cans of Pedigree and dry food a day?..

All you can pray for from there are minimal vet bills over the next 10-15 years...

I will always have 3-4 for the rest of my days..anymore and its hard to spread the love they truly require..My dogs live inside mostly although they are big dogs..they are family plain and simple..

A dog is: A 15 year commitment and a lump in your throat heartbreak in the end-The Menace....I dont cotton ta kittys in these parts..though I love all God`s creatures...just not a cat guy..fuckers would skin you alive and eat you if you suddenly shrank to a smaller size than them..evil I tell you..and spew dat ass shit all da fuck over

with ya on whole thing including the cats. Just cant do big dogs where I am at now. Sounds sort of like kids with the 2,3,4 scenario

Just found this one and think im in love already. Probably have two dogs by tomorrow :ohno::103631605

SO true about rationalizing getting more once you have one....I have 3....vet bills can be nuts, but still way cheaper than kids....but my experience has been that male dogs are better behaved. ....we women are too high maintenance...same with dogs. Just my experience.

Four dogs is really not a problem, especially if you live in a place where a hurricane or tropical storm can roll through and clean them out when you're feeling too crowded for space

I really have no idea who you are and have never commented on any of your posts ever I dont think. I am not how you made it to 20,000 posts without me even seeing 20 of them. But I am not impressed by the first post that I have seen you make

I have two dogs and male and female. the male is much easier to deal with. The female is an attention starved little baby. Personally i love dogs but after these two go I probably wont get anymore. pain in the ass to get anyone to watch them when i go out of town. and there arent any kennels around here in costa rica that i know off.

I think it depends. We have a westie and she is very content to be an only child. We have other dogs stay with us from time to time, and she is ok with it, but she'd rather have her space.

But she is really a part of the family...my wife and I work from home...she sleeps in the bed...in other words, she isn't lonely at all.

Best thing we ever did was get a 2nd dog. Added youthful years to our oldest dogs. She loves having another and so do we.
