Absolute LOCK!
Tonight's game between the hometown Penguins and Flyers won't be close---Penguins win by at least 3 goals!
Things aren't going quite well in Phillyland these past few days and this fact was never more evident than last Sunday when they failed to show up on home ice for an all important game against the Rangers, a game in which a win would have had them playing at home tonight as opposed to playing in Pittsburgh. Instead they laid an egg and it'll continue to go downhill from there on out for the Flyers.
Wednesday's game one loss saw both Jeff Carter and Mike Richards shaking their heads in total frustration at different intervals during the game. In fact Carter's total ice time during the second period was logged at just over three minutes and for the club's leading scorer with 46 goals, something is not right with that picture. Whether this all has to do with coach Steven's line combinations, an internal element on the team, who knows but this team is sinking and sinking fast.
Reports had Kimmo Timonen missing yesterday's practise due to a charley horse injury and for a player who plays anywhere from 22 to 25 minutes a game, that doesn't sound good. The Penguins will go after him this evening like there's no tomorow in an attempt to finish his season.
Carcillo's suspension, although a total joke on the part of Colin Campbell himself and the league, will also affect the Flyers line combinations as well.
Finally let us not forget that if the officials gave the Flyers nine penalties in game one, they may up that number to 12 or 14 tonight.
Lock of the night in all sports:
Pittsburgh Penguins -175
25 units
(1u = $100)
Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 +170
10 units
Pittsburgh Team Total over 3 goals -125
5 units
It doesn't and won't get any easier than this one tonight for the remainder of the postseason!!!
