Im leaning MSU in this game. MSU off the bye week should have the Michigan game out of their system and be ready for a top effort. The boxscore from last year shows the Bucks had a 17-0 lead, gave up the lead, then outscored the Spartans 15-3 in the 4th to seal it. I think that loss at PSU might have a lingering effect as well. Bucks are always tough at home, slight lean to the Spartans though.

Don't mean to intrude, but take a look at in state Mich a fav vs #8 PSU. Same principle as UCLA favored over Cal last week.:toast:

Probably right about that. PSU has played only one road game, should've lost it too. Michigan's mindset is what's worrying me, this is a quote from a Michigan player after their tough loss to Minny:

Tough one for me to call right now.

The line is absurd. A 3-3, unranked team vs an unbeaten #8 ranked team is favored. Mich may be a public team, but still. It's a make no sense bet. By all accounts, PSU should be favored even on the road. LVSC put Mich out at -4 and subsequent books have lowered it down to 3. I was still shocked to see Mich favored. I can only bet Carr's Carnevil.

Yeah, tough one to call. I, like you, do like going with an unranked, favored, home team against a ranked opponent. Lots of questions from me on both teams though.
