Does Sen. McCain know that Gov.Palin was the wrong pick, that he put an unqualified person on the ballot.Does the Senator know that his choice of Sara Palin has put our country at risk and not first! A more plausible answer would be that the Senator delegated his first big decision to the Karl Rove hacks running his campaign.:ohno:

well to be fair, the Karl Rove hacks got a moron 2 terms as president. They say can't too stupid. However, i am pretty sure that McCain is 100 percent upset at his decision and would change it in a second if he could. If he had taken Romney, he would have had a strong voice during this economic crisis.

Republicans on this board are probably upset but won't dare admit it on this message board.

Fuck no they'll never admit it. Everyone knew Romney was the logical choice. Trust me if Romney were his running mate, both sides would be worried and confident at the same time. I honestly think the electoral map wouldn't be as vast as it is right now. The Palin pick handed over the majority female indy voters and toss up states on a silver platter. Right now, the Obama campaign is running the spread offense moving the ball at will all over the country. Absolutely no way Obama should be leading in New Mexico, Virginia and FLORIDA by a decent margin. Romney would've had this race at a tie at worst.

I live in Mass.......Mitt did a pretty good job here as Gov. Voted for him twice.
He is the future of the GOP not Palin.

clearly he is. Palin's future will end up on VH1's "Where are they now?" and she'll blab about how she was used as a pawn in the GOP campaign. She'll be cracked out, lost custody of her kids, and doing reality shows most likely "Flavor of Love" competing for Flavor Flav.

She's not the wrong pick, Obama is no more qualified than she is. Being a once proud and now closet socialist, he's a tad more dangerous too.

However, McCain does know the credit crisis and the resulting stock market plunge really fucked him up.

Mitt spent millions of dollars and more time than anyone trying to win Iowa and neighboring New Hampshire, and he lost both. Just like Joe Biden, he simply doesn't resonate with anybody.

I like Mitt, but you ain't gonna be President if people don't like you, simple as that.

I just cant believe people think that this woman is qualified, she was picked to get the christian right on board, that's it.Her lack of intelligence is insulting,"jill sixpack",ya dont have to be rocket
scientist.......ya know what, maybe you do.Plus I want the people we vote in to the white house to at least be smarter than "me".............being a creationalist excludes her from that.Just my opinion .:icon_conf

His REACTION to the crisis is what fuckt him, Willie.

He said "the fundamentals of our economy are sound" the very day that Lehman was fuckt ... that is when he started to tank ...

That comment put him in a hole, and Obama started to look like a genius for saying nothing.

As for Palin, the two interviews on CBS and ABC, combined with the SNL skits doomed her.

Palin thought she could take on the media ... by calling out the media, she implicitly issued the media a challenge during the RNC speech ... and she got fuckt. If you challenge someone to a fight, don't complain if they knock you out ...

... and Palin has been knocked out while her daughter has been knocked up.

From the Seattle Times:

As blue as our state is, it's not so blue that a freewheeling Republican like John McCain couldn't win here. It doesn't look like that's going to happen now. After traveling around the state these past two weeks, I think I can pinpoint the precise day McCain lost it.

August 29, 2008. The day he picked Sarah Palin.
THAT was the day I went from undecided to totally in the tank for Obama.

Agreed. Romney gets the nod in 2012.

BTW, I would vote for him over Obama and McSame in a heartbeat.

Being all over the place such as suspending the campaign, suggesting not doing the debate, then going to the debate, then the overall bailout failing didn't help either.

On Sarah's side I honestly think two things. She came out of nowhere calling out the entire democratic party. It was definitely an eyebrow raiser considering no one knew anything about her. It coulda gone either way. The Charlie Gibson interview fueled the portion of America that wanted any proof of inexperience and they got it served on a platter. Katie Couric was the post dinner cigar and cognac. Then after SNL and mainstream went into cruise control with her. She did really hurt herself declaring war on the media though. That was a terrible move and IT NEVER WORKS. The media shapes public opinion whether you want to believe it or not.

At his point its pretty much a lost cause. Obama's campaign (though dilligent till the end) is in total and complete offensive mode; like Florida, USC, Missouri, or the 06 Patriots in cruise control in the 4th quarter piling on the points. Even the guys on the bench are getting playing time. McCain's defense isn't trying to stop the scoring, they're still figuring out how to make Obama punt.

You use your analogy, Palin was the rookie, 2nd-round draft pick who started talking trash on Day 1.

Today's dive and evaporation of paper wealth in the markets, is the death nail to McPalin.

He just doesn't have the temperament to deal with it....Obama may very well not have the ability to deal with it.

Time to buy some more ammo.

Lol more like a 2nd DAY draft pick. Gotta love how the right argued her "experience" though.
