It means a lot unless your reputation precedes you, like Pinnacle, then your phone number can be secret. If you are My Bookie,BCN SIA,, or many others .., or lesser known, you better answer the phone.

I think it matters BIG TIME! When i call a new book the very first things I'm looking at are how I'm being treated, if the clerk omes off as stupid or shows very little courtesy or respect over the phone. I'm not staying with them....this is one aspect of this business I still don't understand ...Its as if the books are too cheap to train or hire the right people...too many books have rude clerks who seem as if they could care less whats going on....

We're talking about books that have thousands and thousands of dollars of our money and the clerks act as if we're asking a question about the weather...

If I have 10 dimes in a sportsbook and I have an issue about something I don't want 5 answers from 5 different people who are obviously undertrained or confused....this happens SO MUCH!

Hello, CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS EVERYTHING!

it means EVERYTHING to me

If I email a book I expect to get quick , polite answer. I want to feel from the email that they truely care about me being a customer of there site.

you realize how much it matters when you have a problem

I have a problem with V-Wager promo: waiting 3rd day for any response (no matter positive, negative) to my emails!

Now I see how much they want me as their customer

It means a lot. I want to be treated the same way I treat customers. But you can't judge one place from just the person you are dealing with. If you don't like the rep you got just ask to talk to somebody else. If they 2 are bad then you move on. Just my opinion. Have a great day!!!!

Customer service means everything. Companies needs to realize that customers are the ones bring food to their tables, and also that customers are always right until proven wrong. So dont do to ur customers what u dont want to receive.

It matters to people who have to post up off shore since they are holding your money. Then you get to deal with a local girl mostly on money matters or betting issues.

If you bet off shore through an agent then he's your customer service up close and personal.:103631605

As Jerry Bailey says......... but mostly it's your money.

I think customer service with BIG BUSINESS is very important. There are so many levels ...and people can get ticked off quickly....If I don't get off to a good start ...you can be sure.....I won't stay.

There is not enough that can be said from a marketing stand point about how important CS should be. Some books have better than others for certain as in any business. Locally I get great service from some shops, then I go to McDonalds and Taco Bell and the CS is pitiful. Same in all aspects of business. But, I would still play at a sports book with good deals even if CS was not the best. Payouts along with reduced vig is more important to me.

What's that Gen. You don't get good CS at Mickey D's or Taco Bell? I made the move to Wendy's some time back. First I "found the beef". Now today...that Mandarin Chicken Salad is delicious to me!!

Nobody asked, but FWIW I had a Taco Bell Chalupa today - not bad with a little hot sauce.

McDonalds and Taco Bell around here are notorious for their stiffing you a hashbrown or a bag of fries among other things to often. I'm talking Drive-Thru. It's not that big a deal as long as you sit there in the car and look to assure you have your full order. Taco Bell sounds very good currently.
