The UN has made this is ground troop war. I am not a fan of Bush, and has nothing to do with party lines, I do think there are reasons to be there, but Air strikes, would have this over quickly, and reduce it to rubble. Evacuate the good, and Rubble the place.

When you start the siege of a city then back off because of politics, then when you've won the election send troops back in, you are asking for more casualties.
