Agree G...but take 6 3's away from them (18 pts) and they're STILL up 6 thanks to their defense (Bama shooting 34 percent at the half).

So the 24 pt lead is more than most expected...but that defense is keeping the Tide (a good 3 pt shooting team) from getting back in this thing.

The Vandy game really put me on the Huskies after seeing Vandy dominate Bama on Bama's home court in the regular season (up 18 at the half...Vandy won by 3 after furious Bama 3 pt shooting comeback). If UConn can kick around Vandy like that I was really feeling they would do the same to Alabama as long as Bama didn't hit their 3's.

So far so good...one more half to go!

I thought I seen several open 3's not fall for alabama. Thats the difference. Inside game is better for uconn, but St Joe has been outmanned in the paint and still win with 3's.

I just dont like the 3 pt shot.

General, Bama has been letting teams launch from 22 ft uncontested all year..just against a team that absolutely stifles at the defensive end, thus Bama can't stay around like did in overrated SEC.

My luck, Bama bothered to contest a few vs Syracuse, but is nothing more than a gym-rat bunch..today their sins are unforgiven.
