OJ Simpson has been infamous for his alleged double murders and armed robbery charges. But he was also one of the greatest linebackers in the NFL and hollywood actor.

Do people in the NFL community still talk about him? Where would you rank him in the top greatest NFL players list?
Do you think a young OJ Simpson would dominate in the current NFL teams?

He was a running back and he was a beast. Can only imagine if he was on a better team.

He was the best running back in the league for about 5 years. Played on a shit team with average quarterback (Joe Ferguson) and basically carried them. I would rank him somewhere between 3rd to 8th best of all time. Jim Brown is the best and you start arguing after that for guys like Walter Payton etc. Also was unreal in college for USC and helped them with national championship. Great player.

14 game season, he did 2003 yds. And 1800+ another year. Guy was a one man defense wrecking crew.

Watched him quite a bit as living an hour from Buffalo we got all the Bills games.

Running behind the Electric Company (Joe Delamiellure, Reggie McKenzie, et al).
I was only 11 or 12 but that team, and the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day got me hooked. I faked sick every American Thanksgiving Day to stay home and watch. I'm pretty sure OJ had a big game against the Lions one year.

As great as OJ was in his prime on such a lackluster team, "Bruins 4 life" nailed it.

The blocking he got behind The Electric Co. was purely something to behold. They were the real beasts. The black gazelle with all that talent and downfield vision just had to hit the holes and burst into 6th gear once he was in that backfield!!
