So I decided to try PokerStars after playing Sportsbook for a few years. I played Pokerstars back in college and I didn't really like it then. PartyPoker was the best.

Here is the recap on Pokerstars IMO:

1. Competition is decent
2. the RNG is fucking terrible
a.) I was all in and saved by A 5 CARD BOARD 2 times when a straight ran out.
b.) I was saved 1 time by A 5 CARD BOARD 1 time when a flush ran out.
3. There are so many tournaments and players it is hard to find stuff.
4. The gameplay is sooooooooo slow. They don't seem to have updated the software in the last 4 years.
5. Overall - terrible site. I only put 50 bucks in, but after playing a few ring games and tournaments, I was making dumb plays because I didn't want to play there anymore.

Please feel free to disagree.

Also, the bonuses are impossible to accomplish.

I now see why they call it RiverStars. From my experience, they should call it Turn and River Stars.

you have some valid points there... the RNG is indeed awful....!

the thing about it I think, is that it crashes when the traffic is too high, specially on weekends... craziest shit ive ever seen

the thing about stars... is that you dont only have to outplay your opponents, but also outplay the system.... LOL... gotta see those bad beats coming and fold from time to time unless u have a set or the nuts

Stars has a lot of traffic and unbeatable variety of games(that are actually going).

Lots of competition for the soft money, but if you get in a game that doesn't suit you, there is always another table to jump to.

As far as the RNG.....
