This is crazy...no one seems to like the ducks here...and its starting to make me think that today the luck runs for the noles.

When they faced auburn last year, they struggled defending the spread and that was against a qb whom couldn t throw. They struggled against the run this year. This is not a great defense.

Really starting to like the ducks here.

From BOL yesterday:

By far, Florida State (+9) over Oregon is the most popular play for tomorrow’s College Football Playoff. As a matter of fact, there is more money on FSU than Oregon, Alabama and Ohio State combined.*

lot of touts on FSU.

FSU is not a top four team based on the numbers.

I have Oregon winning this one by DD.

I think the last time FSU was a dog was back a few years. Jimbo's 2nd game

if the line doesn't move off of 7.5, with everyone and their momma on FSU...Oregon would be a strong play. remember vegas doesn't give out free money

All Vegas can do is set the line...Vegas doesn't know whose going to win.. Where do some of you people come up with this nonsense ?

Florida State plays a lot of tight games so Vegas taking a risk here (just tough to fade a team who has a QB that has never lost a college game)..........And yes Vegas takes risks with games at times (the Super Bowl last year is a prime example as it is the most bet game.........going by the line and keeping it there Vegas basically risked piles and piles of money that Seattle would win as they were begging for Denver money and obviously got it)

This line is tougher to read as the line could be reflecting Florida State's poor ATS performance more than Vegas having that much confidence in Oregon.

The bottom line is though Vegas does not try to get Equal Action on Every Game.....Even Vegas takes risks at times by the lines they set...

I'll go out on a limb here and say the spread won't make a difference. Either FSU wins a tight game or Oregon blows them out...

FWIW, I have Oregon as my strongest play this bowl season. In handicapping the game, the turnovers from FSU and the fact that they had trouble with both NC State and Ga Tech made me unload on Oregon. Just my 2 cents. I also liked TCU quite a bit but I liked the Frogs all year.
